  1. Hi all,

I got 20 vob karaoke files and i would like to burn them on DVD. I used VobEdit and fIfoedit, i joined all those files together and used ifo to create ifo files. When i used Nero to burn the dvd files and tried to play on my dvd player. It only played the first file and doesn't want to skip to the next file. What shall i do?? I've tried to use Ulead movie factory 2 to create new dvd vob files but Ulead Movie factory cut those vob files in pieces which make it bad for karaoke.

I apreciate if someone could guid me to make it better.

  2. If
    - the file names are in order (VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, VTS_01_3, etc...)
    - you use the proper PGC and chapter options when creating the IFOs
    - you correct the DVD sectors ("Get VTS sectors" button)

then it should work fine on standalone

  3. yes the files are VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, VTS_01_3.VOB AND VTS_01_4.VOB and i did the "Get VTS sectors"

one question, when i did the "Get VTS sectors" VTS_1 Audio 1 i click on it and chose App mode = karaoke, Language = english and the same for VTS_2 Audio 2 and did the same for VTS_0_1.0.IFO

What program did you use to burn?

  4. I have the same problem when I play the disc in my JVC player.I have to press forward button or number of the song to get it to play the next song.
However, when I play the disc in my Samsung player it works O.K!
So it's the dvd player that cause the problem, not the disc.

  5. For doing something like that with 20 VOB files I would use neoDVD Plus. That way I could have a nice menu to each file with chapters if I want them or I could just tell NeoDVD to start with the first file then go to the next one and so on.

  7. Late reply but..
Bob W, I have done that with neoDVD but this does not work well for karaoke which supports two audio streams (vocal & music, music only).
VobEdit and IfoEdit works fine for this.
