    Right now I'm looking for the PlayCap demo that comes with the Directx 8.1 SDK. The demo opens a window and shows the data from the camera. i cant find a link to downlod it any where any help?

    I think you need to download and install the entire SDK. It's a bit beefy, but if you have a decent connection there should be no problem.
