  1. I'm taking my DV from my camcorder and recording it into Pinnacle Studio 7 and then making an mpeg file in Studio 7. My one hour/one and a half hour videos from the camcorder are only turning out to be between 1 gig and 2 gig files.

So, I've tried taking two files and putting them into DVD-lab and copy one with it's audio up to the movie window, but if I try to move another one up there it tells me I already have one there and I cannot add another one.

Is there a way to put more than one video file onto a dvd using DVD-Lab?

    Thanks!

If Im understanding you correctly, the answer is yes. Just right click in the project window and select "add movie". Then goto the connections window and drag and drop your video&audio from the assets window into the new movie you just added.

    Good luck,

Nope is correct. I've tried that...once I've added one movie, it will not let me add another one...at least not that way.

Ok, does anyone know of another burning program that will do menus and chapters that will burn more than one onto a dvd? I'm doing our home movies of our baby and it's hard to waste one dvd for a 1 or 2 gig movie file.

  4. Add the movies to the project window first. This is in the lower part of the window. After you have added the films drag and drop the first film to the screen labeled movie 1. Then go to the movie 1 icon on the left side of the window and right click on it. From the drop down box choose "add movie." When the "movie 2" window pops up drag and drop your next film onto it. Repeat this process until you have added all your files. Ulead DVD Movie Factory also allows you to add multiple videos.

  5. LaddyDaddy is right. You have to "import assets" for all your movies into the Audio and Video section of DVD-lab, then do an add movie function to get a blank movie slot, then drag and drop each one of the movies into the new slot you just created. Repeat as necessary.

  6. Ok, I've been 'importing' them, but just couldn't figure out how to get the second one in there.

Thanks! I will give this a try.

  7. Yes, that is correct, I've already made half a dozen or so with up to five clips on one disk.

Great! but would you please tell me how you're going it.

I have tried numerous times...do Import Assest each video and it demuxing them and then shows them all in the bottom window. Then I take and drag video 1 and audio 1 into movie 1, I create my chapters and menus for each video, then right click on move and add another move and then repeat the process for the other movies. Then I go to compile and burn start burning automatically. It starts this and then when it gets to the window that says 'DVD-lab Disc Record' it keeps giving me some error about a directory and no file and ask if I have already compiled or not. The directory it's giving an error for is not even the directory where my stuff is at.

    Suggestions...

I can do this whole process with just one video file and it works perfect, just run into problems when I use more than one file.

  9. You're doing the right thing on creation, I create the folder and then burn with a seperate prog, so don't know about your other error. Sounds like the burning portion expects some default directory, either change that or create your folders in the expected directory.
