  1. Best Buy has a 50 Pack of Fuji Film DVD-R for 79.99 after instant rebate. Pretty decent deal for brick and mortar if you ask me. Seems like these are selling out fast so go check it out yourself!

  4. I don't know much about the disc manufacturers. I know they said made in Taiwan They are only 2x I can't seem to find 4x DVD-R in my local area unless I buy a 10 pack of Fuji's at like 40 bucks.

  5. I just bought a 50 pack, they are re-badged Ritek G03s, so it's still not a bad price.

How do you know they are Ritek's? I can't seem to find that anywhere on the packaging or the DVD-R

  8. @MetaPhaze: Every DVD+/-R/RW will have a manufacturer's ID code stamped onto them. You will need a program like DVDInfo to read the code.

    Office Depot also has 15 packs of DVD+R, 26.94, buy 2 get 1 free, so 54 bucks, 45 +Rs. Works out to a buck 20, + tax.
The -Rs above are a buck 60 + tax. That's not cheap, is it?

BTW, they're Philips disks, if that matters.

Fuji is not the best, and its's expensive. That's a double-screw.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

The 50 pack of Fuji DVD-Rs that I got from Best Buy cost me $1.37 each after tax vs. $1.42 mail order (both Ritek G03). Ritek might not be TDK or Maxell in terms of quality but they are defintely B+ or A- grad media. Of course, YMMV since Fuji does rebadge media and sell it under their name but it looks like Ritek does their 1X/2X media and Taiyo Yuden makes their 4X media. Neither is shabby!

Until I see CMC or Princo making Fuji media, I'll still give their brand the benefit of the doubt when shopping locally 8)
