So far I've used WinProducer3 - it seems pretty good. I like the timeline, great titles, excellent transitions, ability to add a second track of video and audio. However, burning to my Firewire Sony DVD-+R/RW just doesn't work. I wind up with a DVD (any format) that starts and then just hangs.
So, from WP3, I output to Mpeg2 to Hard Disk, then, using Ulead DVD Workshop I create a great menu, add the Mpeg video file and burn - works great.
I don't mind using DVDWS but it just doesn't seem to have the same great titles and transitions that WP3 has. Also, DVDWS doesn't seem to let me add an audio track and then edit that track a bit - like WP3 lets me do.
Do others here experience the same "problems"? Is there one authoring tool - affordable - that will provide some good basics like WP3, and successfully burn? Thanks all, David.
