I was wondering what percent of blank media is ruined with buit-in (came with new CPU) vs add-on or upgraded to DVD.
Personally I have built-in DVD burner. I had very good results except errors on part or burned with poor knowledge.
Thanks

I think it has more to do with media, and burning style(what you use to burn, if you use your computer during burning) than it does with whether it is a add on or a preinstalled(with maybe the exception that the preinstalled was a crap brand from) But i have a preinstalled from dell (in my inspirion 8500) and i have burned 3 good and 1 bad, but the bad one didn't even record all the way(checking on the reason in another thread)
