  1. I followed "Digitoast"'s guide and found 352 bad frames and they were all in sequential order, so I masked them as mentioned in the guide.

The problem now is that the audio is completely out of sync with the video, i think this could be because i used Vdub-mp3 and so it did not cut out audio when it masked the bad frames and thus the resulting lag.

Can this problem be fixed by extracting audio as Wav file and using it when creating .mpg file for Xvcd?

    Any ideas?

Why dont you just DELETE the bad frames, That will
    delete the audio too.

I did not know how to do that, and so when I was searching for an answer, I found the guide and thought this would take care of everything.

But If I am not mistaken, it can be done by checking the video for errors using Vdub and then going back and simply masking those frames?

Can anyone confirm this? Or suggest an easier way if there is one.

    Don't Mask them, Delete them.
Pick a range of video and hit the DELETE Key

How do you do that? Do I need to identify the bad frames before I hit delete, I mean mark the start and end frames and then hit delete?

Any ideas how to go about this?

The delete key will delete the single frame that you are looking at

Hi, I apologise up front that this won't help solve your problem - but you may be able to help me.

I have the same problem and it sounds as if deleting bad frames (and attached audio) may help. Can you point me to "Digitoast's" guide that you mention?

    Cheers.
