    Hello,

I copied an asf file. Used Virtual Dub 1.3 and save as AVI and WAV file. The wav and avi were checked. The wav file sounded like the asf quality. I used the TMPGenc to convert to mpeg-1. When I played the new mpeg-1, the sound was a little distored. What do I have to do to fixed the sound problem.

    Thanks,

    Rage

I wanted to add, there is large noise in the background of the wav file. Has anyone here encountered this problem before. What freeware will clean the wav before encoding with TPmpeg? IS there an alternative solution?
