  1. I'm trying to clip a few pieces of audio from a VOB file so that I can add them as background audio on the menus I'm building.

I couldn't find anything that would directly cut pieces of just the audio track, so I used MPEG2Cut to create a small VOB and then used TMPGEnc to demux the pieces. But, TMPGenc didn't see the audio as AC3 and when I compiled my DVD with DVDLAB, the resulting menu had no audio.

I then tried bringing in the VOB as an asset into DVDLAB and let DVDLAB do the demux. I still ended up with no audio on the menu.

    1) Does MPEG2CUT do something to the audio when it cuts things?
    2) Is there another tool that will do what I want?

    Thanks.

VobEdit will extract AC3 audio from VOBs very easily.
