  1. Is there a way I can SHRINK a MPEG2 file I know about DVD Shrink will this work?

  2. DVD Shrink is a DVD (read vobs) shrinking tool. If you want to shrink a mp2 (audio file) then you need to reencoded it with an audio tool. I tried it with besweet but the mp2 still was the same size as the wav i put in.

    You have to re-encode it at a lower bit rate, or
    resize and re-encode, or
    Author it and then shrink it with DVD Shrink, or
    cut out random sections in the middle and hope nobody notices
