  1. I've cut my mpeg-2 in half with MPEG2Cut, so that I have to files to put on 2 cd's. The poroblem is, when I go tto make the second cd, Nero accepts the file, but it doesn't really load it. Normally, if I load a ~700 meg file, it takes Nero about 10 to 15 seconds to load the file. That isn't happening with the second half of the movie, for both of the movies I've cut so far. They paly fine in power dvd or media player, but after burning the cd, there is nothing but black when I play it on my dvd player. Also, after Nero accepts the file, there is no duration under the second track. Normally it'll tell me how long the clips is, when the file is actually loaded. I almost forgot, if I try to play the second clip from inside Nero, it gives me a media control interface error. Can anyone help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

  3. I did originally, but I had problems with that as well. The audio would cut out at the end of the cut, and it would even cut extly where I told it to, it would add 20 or 30 seconds.

can you not compensate for that???

TMPGEnc displays this problem when cutting SVCD MPEG-2 encoded at 23.976 fps (NTSC FILM)

  5. Probably, but I'd prefer not to. I was hoping this was something common that has been seen and easily corrected. I do appreciate your replies, and information.

  6. The old version 1.x of Mpeg2Cut has a lot of compatibility problems.

Try version 2 - Mpg2Cut2 - which resolves a number of issues from Version 1, and adds a number of new features.

Download the latest version of Mpg2Cut2 at
    http://www.geocities.com/rocketjet4/

If you are having problems with Version 1,
then give Version 2 a try.

For cutting VOBs, I recommend the following::
    - "menu - Output - Preamble - MAXIMUM"
    - Also use "PVAStrumento" from Offeryn if cutting multiple clips..
