yeah if the file is bin/que.....i go to file/burn image....if its mpg i burn using the wizard to convert to vcd.....they play fine in WMP and other dvds so i dont think its wrong..i ll let you know how your advice worked out

hey hey poop...
not sure what you mean this time..i didnt see a template....the only 2 ways i know of are file/burn image and the wizard

i'm assuming you're using nero burning rom and not nero express...
when the wizard pops up, click on "close wizard" button...
in the new compilation window that comes up, scroll down and choose the SVCD template...

sorry for the mis-info....it seems what i thought was the "wizard" was actualy the new comp. window....so i have been working the right way......on a better note though i tried to burn 2 more at 2x speed and the first one worked.....
thanx for the help so far

in Nero, when you burn... you have the "make standard, compliant disc" checked right???
-------
you should try other burning proggies...they're both suppose to be FREEWARE

not sure where that is but it sounds familiar......i tried VCDEasy but the freeware version wont burn past 400 MB....i ll try vcd imager
BTW i opened up a new thread in (s)vcd authoring looking for some additional advice
