  1. This is hilarious. Sorry Ben and J-Lo!

From Justin to Kelly is a not-so-distant second. I guess this year wasnt the best for Hollywood, though I did like Matrix: Reloaded a lot.

  2. I think J. Lo is a hottie, but I can honestly say I have no intention of ever seeing this movie....

Two of the most over-rated actors in the history of the biz. I just about puked when Daredevil made over $100 million and so did Maid In Manhattan.

People, please dont see movies cause you are bored, it encourages Hollywood to think you liked it, then we get a worse sequal. Help us out of this creative drought in tinsel town so we get quality actors and quality stories.

Well, other than the odd indy film what do you expect Hollywood to give you that they haven't before? Seabiscuit? I'd have preferred a remake of Phar Lap but then, there is no upbeat ending to THAT story now is there? Personally I'm very tired of the whole idea that everyone in Hollywood films MUST look like some model or other or have abs of steel. In the not too distant past (and on U.K. TV) there seems to be something called "character actors" that don't fit that mold. Too bad that idea has escaped from the people making Hollywood block busters these days...

  6. I heard they are making a moviecalled The Dukes of Hazzard based on the 70's TV show... Ugggg!!!! They are out of idea's!

The only good thing is Britney Spears is playing Daisy Duke... That might be worth the price of admission LOL

  7. Personally, I liked Daredevil. Horrible acting by Garner, though . The part with the evanescense song.... . 6.5-7/10

  8. Seeing Garner in that outfit made it worthwhile for me!

No, Seabiscuit is not my idea of better film making cause its a story nobody cares about, besides Toby McQuire just doesnt fit the bill as an actor in my books, plus he is no spiderman.

Hollywood needs epic type adventure flicks, like LOTR and such. Good strong stories with escapism, like the Indiana Jones movies used to deliver. Where is the new century's Indiana Jones? TombRaider?...you have got to be kidding me.

I agree but blockbusters usually cost hundreds of millions $ to produce and studios would rather spend it on stupid films such as Waterworks .For every movie that produces a profit there are two that don't.

BTW..Gigli looks awful and I won't waste $4 on the rental.

Blockbusters cost hundreds of millions of dollars?? heck, some of the most simple crap out there costs that much. Gigli's budget was something like $50 million in production and another $25 million to promote it. I cant beleive what Hollywood spends for movies anymore. Where is it going? A real artist could have made Gigli, which has no action or special effects, for like under $10 million.

I suspect that the days of the overpaid actor and athelete are just around the corner. People are going to be hard pressed to shell out good coin for the poor quality of entertainment we currently have. Big names are no longer enough to carry anything anymore, movies need stories and scripts, sport franchises need spirit and passion.

Amen to that. The best seat at a sporting event is in front of the tv in a bar. I can spend that $40 on beer and grub instead of a ticket for a seat where the oxygen is low.

And I see maybe 5 movies per year at the theatres. None of that stuff interests me anymore. Even my passion, cartoons, have been little more than crap these past few years, with few exceptions.

Either entertainment is getting worse and expensive, or we're just getting harder to please.

I would consider watching Gigli to be punishment.

I'm afraid we've been living in those days for the past decade my friend.
When an actor makes $20 million per movie or $1 million per tv episode overpaid is a fact.Hell even athletes making $9 million a year is rediculous. One more rant and I'll shut up...why do we pay for pro sports insignias on our clothing...shouldn't they be paying us for advertising for them?

  15. They should pay us for watching commercial's in the movie theater too! Or at least discount the price of admission. I like seeing trailers, but coke commercials???? Come on!

    Lets see....
I GOT TO THINKING how would SCHWARTZENNEGER
give up that kind of salary?

isn't he married to a KENNEDY? doesn't MARIA like the good life?

Doesn't the GOVERNOR make less than a MILL?

I'll bet those pesky republicans promised to 'PUMP HIM UP"
    for his role as governor!!
I think he took an offer even an aging actor couldn't refuse!
Hence the change in his accepting the run for office

  20. He's worth 170MILLION, plus he gets RESIDUALS on all his movies... He already has MORE MONEY than you can shake a stick at.... WHAT CHANGE? He NEVER said he wasn't running. What does this have to do with BEN & JEN????

I expected Gigli would be bad and never intended to see it but this is starting to remind me an awful lot of a certain scene in Jay & Silent Bob.

Well arnie for governor could happen i mean a wreslter became governor of a state (jessie the body vantura) and we even had an ex-actor become president (ronald regan) so arnie for a governor isnt so far fetched. i mean if he was to bring a bill to congress and someone said no just think of the classic qoutes he could use "i'll be back" or "astalavesta baby!" and shit i wouldnt say no to arnie i would be afraid he might break into my house and terminate me. as for the ben afflack-jho movie...i havent seen it and it will remain that way till my dying day.

I'm going to vote for him!

Yeah I'd love to see some of those old Fly Girl videos!

  25. Fx TV was showing In Living Color since Fx came on the air years ago. I think they finally stopped showing them. In Living Color's comedy was based on current events stuff, so must of it would not be funny today unless you new what current events they were making fun of back in 90-94. And J Lo was plumpier back then and had really short black hair. She definitely did not have the diva look she has today.
The last one I saw they were making fun of Paula Abdul's video. If you did not know that back in 92 there were rumors going around that they were editing the videos to make her look thin, you would not probably think it was funny.
