hi all,
sorry i'm quite new to this - but so far this forum has enabled me to burn my own dvd's - with no prior knowledge - so THANKS!
my problem is, i want to buy discs - currently using DVD rw (god knows what speed?!) and it's worked ok. i want to buy more discs, my drive writes at 2 speed and rewrites at 1 speed.
my question is - does the speed of the disc matter - i.e. will a 4 speed disc write at 2 speed and rewrite at 1 speed? my original vendor said that i have to use 1speed or 2 speed discs, but i would have thought the hardware would override it and just write at 1 if i use a faster disc?!
i'm running a pioneer a04/ (104) - and so far the only option available (in Nero Express)has been 1 speed rewriting. (indicating hardware override as i dont know the speed of the media i am using)![]()
using DVD Shrink re-authoring , straight through to Nero Express and working great so far - you guys are great, thanks![]()
