Pioneer DVR-105 Problem!

I've had my DVR-105 for about 5 months now and have'nt had a single problem with it and now all of a sudden i can only burn/read disc at 2.3X and sometimes it drops below this going to as low as .9X and up to 1.7X than back up to 2.3X and so forth and so on and now the record buffer / state never goes to 100% it is always going from 19% to 25% to 89% than back down and than back up during the whole recording of the disc
and this is on 4X media it only burns 2.3X and lower. i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? i have just the regular firmware installed for it and i'm gonna try cleaning it in acouple hours to see if that helps.

If this is truely at burn speeds also check your DMA/PIO settings. If you dont' know how I'll try to post more detailed information later.

Hmmmm very weird it seems to be working fine after cleaning it and defragging my main h/d not sure which one of the two it was but it seems to be working just fine now thanks for the offer of help tho flaystus.

Likely it was the defrag, glad to hear you sorted it out.
