I am currently using DVDDecrypter 3.1.6.0 to rip all files to my harddisk, DVD2one 1.2.0 to reduce the size so as to fit into a 4.7GB DVD+R, and using ImgTool 1.00.6 to burn with my Ricoh MP5125A (firmware 1.64 RPC1).
Lately, after burning, my Ricoh MP5125A nor my Asus DVD-ROM E616 are able to read the contents of the DVD+R. Strangely, I am still able to play the movie on my standalone Pioneer DV-533K.
The media I'm using are CMC DVD+Rs. I later tried using a Ricoh DVD+RW with the same technique as mentioned and encountered no such problems.
Has this something to do with the CMC DVD+Rs? I never had this problem before.
Appreciate your comments.

The 1.64 FW is good.
Burning image is good.
RicohJPN discs are good.
Using the 1.27 firmware I had ONE disc burned but failed to finalize properly (got error message) that would not play in the burner nor in my Toshiba DVD-ROM but played OK in my standalone (after a little rattling).
In your case the question might be whether the rest of your CMC discs behave the same way?
