I've been trying to encode a few movies, but the audio and video wind up being de-synched.
On one (DivX3 PAL), the audio is faster than the video. Do I cut the framerate?
On the other, the audio is deleted altogether. How do I fix this?
Thanks.

Well, you start out by telling the gurus exactly what programs you use and what you did. Then they can begin to help you.
Hello. -
Soitanly!
I used TMPGEnc to try and encode it (as it says in Sefy's guide), doing nothing to it before-hand, but when I was screening the finished MPEG before burning it to VCD, I noticed there was a lag in video when compared to the audio. I checked back in the source AVI at the same time, and found the video froze while the audio kept going.
I just used DivFix to mend these errors, but it deleted the part right out of the video! Is there any way to save it? -
In Virtual Dub, did you select Video-->Scan video stream for errors?
