anyways, i have a movie that is extracted in vcd format... the files i get are cdi, ext, mpegav, segment, and vcd w/ files inside of them...

what program do i use to burn these onto cd and then play in my dvd player??? i tried just burning it w/ easy cd creator as a data cd but that doesn't work cuz my dvd player doesn't reconize it...

First you check in the DVD Player compatibility list on this website, if your DVD player will play VCD's. Secondly what type of CD-R(W)'s it will take. Once you have got that sorted out, I would read through the "how to" guides. If you still have problems, ask again.
