they were supposed to make this movie ten years ago...and I would of really enjoyed it much more then....then I will now...but i'm still anxious to see it just because of the fact that those are two of the RARE horror films or ANY film for that matter that had about 10 sequels or so.


Man...I think Freddy is gonna whip Jason's ass throughout that movie though...lol...of course like I said in another post...when Jason gets Freddy at Crystal Lake....Jason is gonna chop Freddy's ass up.....but if Freddy gets Jason in that boiler room....it's OVER! lol...it's gonna still be exciting to me...as you can see...I have such a wonderful taste in film.

Yeah this movie took a very long time to actually happen, yet for some strange reason, even thought I've not seen the last movies in either series I just HAVE to see this one.

Freddy all the way man! The Jason series sucked!! It's just a guy who grunts and cuts people up. At least the Nightmare series had some story to it (early on). I'm putting my vote on Freddy. This movie looks like it's gonna be sweet, I can't wait!

@ poopyhead, Yep...you are right about that. They both are supposed to be indestructable. The thing is that Jason is still human...although he has superior human strength. But Jason is definitely SUPER-HUMAN but Human nonetheless. Freddy isn't human though....he's straight outta hell...and can only get your ass while your sleeping. He can only kill people in their dreams....so even though they are both indestructable....Freddy is more supernatural.

With that being said...I have never seen Jason sleep..lmao....Jason doesn't eat or sleep...that mofo just kills your ass.....that's the only thing on Jasons mind...chhh chhhh chhhh hahaaaa haaaaa haaaaa killl killll killl....that sounds about like the sound affects in Friday the 13th's right?

Funny you should say that because one of the movies I initially backed up when I joined this forum was Jason X. At that time I was making SVCD's and putting them on 2 cd's. Since i've had a DVD Burner, i've converted all but three of my SVCD's to DVD. One of the three movies is JASON X. That movie sucked so bad I can't believe I wasted 2 cd's on it! LMAO....So I have the SVCD which I doubt i'll ever watch again. Jason goes to Hell was better then JASON X and Jason goes to Manhattan or Jason in Manhattan was another sorry Friday the 13th.

And yea...I agree...all the Freddy movies were the shit...even A NEW NIGHTMARE...that was a bad ass movie too.

Jason Takes Manhattan. It's a great movie because we all know that they flood the sewers with toxic waste every night at 12. That's when he gets his maskknocked off and he says in a boys's voice "Help" or something like that. CRAP!!! I liked New Nightmare. To me the list of Nightmares in terms of how much I liked them goes.

I'd say that 2 was the darkest. The problems came when they had Freddy start becoming a comedian with is one liners. It totally took away from the horror.

As for Friday series. 1 was okay, kinda slow. 2 was just a remake of 1. And the rest were a bore fest held loosly together by the thinnest plot ever thought of. Jason X was a comedy I think.

I saw the movie commercial last night and thought "kick his ass Freddy!".I think they will kill each other off in the end but I would like to see tgpo go medievel on them.
Maybe the next movie will have Goldberg and "the Rock" together as tag team partners....WWF vs.Jason & Freddy
