  1. When I try to convert some AVI to burnable DVD Files using Nero Vision Express I allways get error messages. Have tried different AVI's, with xVid MPEG4 Codec or DivX 5.03. Audio has always been MP3. In all of these cases i got one of the following error messages:

    1.

    Error Code: 14
    Source: CAC3Encoder::Initialize
    Description: cannot find NeAcEnc.dll

    ERROR:
    cause: 128 (nmc_processing_exception)
    source: CAC3Encoder::Initialize
    description: cannot find NeAcEnc.dll

    2.***BEGIN: Component Error Handler
    Error Code: 11
    Source: StartStreaming
    Description: Cannot seek graph to segment start

    ERROR:

    source: StartStreaming
    description: Cannot seek graph to segment start

    Can somebody help ?

    Yes, dont let Nero convert your avi files. Use TMPGEnc.

  3. and if I want 2-channel Dolby also, seperate audio and convert it with BeSweet to ac3 ?

    You may not have the Vision Express-specific Mpeg2 encoder plug-in. (Different from the Nero Burning Mpeg2 encoder plug-in)

    If you really want to use Vision Express for projects, the last version I tried would always try to re-encode the video file whether it was already encoded properly or not.

  5. I am using newest version 2.0.0.22, where the plugin is already included. I have also checked about this missing file NeAcEnc.dll, it is part of the installation.
