  1. Hi !!

    I didn`t know where to post my prob, so i posted here *g*.

    I have an audio problem: i have burned a vcd with following setting: 528 x 352, bitrate of 2500, 25 fps and audio on 224 kbits. but when i playback the vcd on my standalone dvd player, i sometimes have weird noises. i hear cracks, and the sound seems to slow down ! When i playback the vcd on the computer, the sound is perfect !

    I coverted a mov. file---> so maybe that`s the problem (but i don`t know *g*)

    A VCD ?

    Video-CD PAL (MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

    Video-CD NTSC (MPEG-1 352x240 29.97fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

    Now those 2 are VCD's, did you use Nero by any chance or some other software that lets you "Ignore" the warnings ?

    This is a joke right ?

    Did my post not help you then ?

    I already told you that your VCD is not the correct spec, I have listed the correct spec for PAL and NTSC

    Can you not see the difference it what you have made and what you have suppose to have made ?

    I guess I should stop posting to people who don't want to read ?

    "528 x 352, bitrate of 2500, 25 fps and audio on 224 kbits" what is this ? is not a VCD thats for sure !!!!

    I guess you are in the UK, and want PAL so pay attention to the post.

    Video-CD PAL (MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

    Video-CD PAL (MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

    Video-CD PAL (MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

    That is the correct spec to make your VCD

    You don't need me to make a fool out of you, your doing OK on your own (Joke sorry)

    yours = 528 x 352
    correct= 352 x 288

    yours= bitrate of 2500
    correct= bitrate of 1150

    yours = 25 fps
    correct=25 fps

    yours= 224 kbits
    correct=224 kbits

    I dont even see if this can be a SVCD or an XVCD ?

    Thats is why I thought it was a joke !!!!!!!!
