I enjoy pets that don't require large amounts of attention myself. I have a community tank (i.e. many varieties) of fish. But a large chunk of them are Neon tetras like the ones at this website

I had a goldfish in my early teens.. forgot to rinse the bleach *properly* out of the tank one day, and soon it was floating and when i retrieved it, was covered in quarter-inch mucus.. ew. Or maybe it died of lonliness.
Now the family pets are my brother's seemingly unwanted guinea pigs. No pics to hand but imagine three kitten-sized objects, one grey with an agouti head, one black and white with some brown, and one with a very cool brown/black pattern, all resembling furry bricks, simultaneously exuding an aura of extreme laziness, hideous evil, and a pretty bad smell. As well as a mind destroying squeaky noise that makes you instinctively head to the fridge and pull out some slightly old produce.
They crap a LOT. And do very little, except eat, doze, and rap loudly in pig-language. I wanna be reincarnated as a guinea pig.
