I have an xvid file that I want to encode to Svcd..someone here suggested that the easiest way to do this is to use DVD2SVCD, because it has the ability to do AVI2SVCD.
So, I tried it, followed the guides; of course, when the encode is completed, it cuts the movie in half, but as it re-muxes the audio to the video, the FIRST Mpeg file is completed.. BUT the AVI2SVCD software has real problems re-muxing the audio to the SECOND mpeg file. I've also tried several other AVI (xvid and divx) files.. but the AVI2SVCD software always gives up in the middle of the 2d mpeg file.
I've tried to use this program 5 times now.. it always quits in the middle of the 2d re-mux, stating that it cannot complete the file.
So,, what do ya'll think that I'm not doing correctly ? I really would LIKE to use the AVI2SVCD software; if I can get it to complete the entire process.
Thanks for your help ~![]()
