Check the second video for bad frames. Use Virtual Dub. Load your video into it, select Video-->Scan video stream for errors.

I know what you mean, but he never explicitly said he downloaded it, so you have to give him the benefit of the doubt and appear to believe that he obtained it legally, regardless of that impossibility.

I think that if someone wants the "benefit of the doubt", then they shouldn't mention the dubious material. He should just say "I have an Xvid video..." Now if he said "I'm having troubvle ripping my Chicago DVD..."

  7. Yeah so what, nothing you can do if he DLed a movie.........ugly cat tho.

no, we don't... how could he possibly obtain a legal copy?

if it's a screener, he shouldn't be backing it up. It's an Xvid... where did he legally get an Xvid of Chicago?

downloaded or not, warez is warez. if I buy a copy of The Hulk from a street vendor, does that mean I can ask here about backing it up?

No you can't, and you shouldn't, but hey, unless you can get a moderator to believe that this is warez, there's nothing you can do besides become a moderator yourself. If you are one right now, you should probably be doing something about this...............but, well, I don't care.
