Hello!!!!!!
I took the earlier advice to use Goldwave to Maximise Volume.
I load the AVI/XVid movie into Goldwave and then once fully loaded I click on the "effects" tab and click on volume then maximise. It does a scan and all is ok. However....when finished it brings up a box with new levels etc...when I press OK...my system freezes and crashes...The next step is to the save the new maximised audio file...but I never get this far. What do i do???
Do I have to change those settings within the box....or what?
I have pressed cancel within this box & saved the file.....but the eventual new file still has LOW LEVEL AUDIO ???...No different to the original file.
Please Help !!!
Thanks

don't hit ok. simply save your work when you close it.
Or, hit copy 2 button at top of window, this will create a new file that is the louder one, while leaving the old one as is.
Not sure why your audio is low level, but goldwave is great stuff once you learn it.
