Picture problems On Menu using Movie Factory

Hi all,

I just burned my 1st dvd and have a problem.

When I was adding files in Ulead Moviefactory onto my menu they show up as thumbnails which is what I want. The problem is that as i have put cartoons on all the thumbnails are black i.e. they show the screen before the episode starts.
I moved the slider so that i get differant pictures but stupidly didnt realise that this wil only change the start point of the episode.

Is there any way the thumb nail pictures will show a few good pics but also start at the beginning of the episode?

I just reviewed the dvd I made of my daughter's wedding. I used dvdMF2.
3 files. View from the altar, veiw from the balcony and reception. I chose pictures which showed a representation of that particular view, about 4-5 minutes into the clip. My movies start from the beginning of the clip.....
