  1. Hey everyone...

I'm going to build me a PC to act as a standalone DivX player for my home theater because I'm sick of the quality loss when converting them to VCD's.

What would be the best solution for a TV-Out card that has S-Video to connect to my switch box??

Is there some way I can burn the DivX files to CD's where they will autorun when inserted into the CD-Rom and play full screen??

    Thanks!
    Scott

  2. For a video card with TV-out I reccomend mine that I am VERY happy with. Its an Asus V7100 MAGIC /T GeForce2 MX-200 3D A.G.P. 4X 3D video card w/32MB SDRAM, nVidia GeForce2 MX-200 chipset. Its about 70 bucks but I have been happy with it for a while (I'm sure there is prolly something better out by now but its one suggestion)

To burn them as autorunning then you have to create a file called autorun.inf more info can be found here...

I need a little info before making a suggestion:
What make/model DVD player do you have in your home theatre system?
    What TV?
How is your DVD player connected to your TV?
