Hi all,
I ripping the DVD to my HDD, later I run the DVDx 2.2 and setting the DivX 5.0.5 codec all right of setting....
But want it converation about 5 minutes, DVDx 2.2 popup a windows that tell me I run out of the virtual memory, my system is Windows 2000 Pro with SP4, and my system memory have 768MB SDRAM in my motherboard. And setting 0MB virtual memory in my C HDD, but have 921 Virtual Memory setting on the L drive HDD, I thinking this "VM" is enough
Do anyone experience the same with me, and I try to add C dirve HDD to 512 MB "VM" and run it again, later it used all 2GB total Memory + "VM" it still popup the out of "VM" box.
And my CPU is AMD Athlon 1.2GHz, do it have the relevent of this problems?? Or DVDx 2.2 just for P4 CPU only???
Sorry of my poor English, hope all understand what is my problems and can teach me how to fix it. Thanks

Sorry, but.... why do you rip your movie to your HDD if youŽre using DVDx??
DVDx does the ripping and encoding on the fly, wich means that it rips and encodes in 1 step. take a look at the guides on how to DVD rip with DVDx....youŽll save time and disc space.
Concerning your memory problem, i have to say no....never happened to me (p4 1.7, 1.5 ghz ram).
Try encoding on the fly and see if that "out of VM" message shows up again.
cheers
