  1. Hi,

Yesterday I was trying to back up a music DVD and both programs miserably failed to decrypt the damn thing. Then I started DVDShrink 1.03 /the first release/ - Copy Files et voila! No problem.
If you don't have this version of DVDShrink get it!

    Enjoy!

    I have that version.....and 2.0...and 2.1.....and 2.3 (the latest).

The newer versions have a newer (obviously) transcoding engine that is slower but does give better quality.

Failing DVD Decrypter and Smartripper...give AnyDVD a try (not sure of the website....do a Google search for it)

    AnyDVD is by Slysoft.

And why in GOD'S NAME would we want the original release of DVD Shrink? It does nothing that the new versions don't.

If DVD Decrypter cannot rip a movie, I use it again in my burner instead of my Lite On drive, works everytime. The only movies I've had not rip in either with Decrypter turned out to be damaged in one way or another. I'm not saying that Decrypter is perfect, but its not failed me yet. My Liteon fails me more often then it does... and my liteon rarely fails.
