  1. Dang........I could have sworn that I posted this already......but here goes again.

Here's the deal......I need to be able to burn multiple cd's at once. Currently I have one CD burner, one CD drive that will be upgraded to a CD burner, and one empty bay that will be getting a DVD burner that can burn CD's.

My question is if there is a program/method that would allow me to burn on all three drives at the same time, allowing me to burn 3 cd's at once.

Any help/comments would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

  2. I believe Nero has this feature. I am using an old version though so you might want to check that the current version has it (anyone confirm?).

there are quite a few programs that will do this..

    nero/feurio/discjuggler

the only problem is that you need to have scsi/firewire drives for it to work.. ide isnt fast enough and something about ide not being able to send/recieve data as good as scsi/firewire.. asychronus or something.

I have the latest Nero 5.5 and 4 DVD burners, only 2 of which are FireWire, and regularly burn DVDs to all 4. CDs are all the easier because they usually require a smaller transfer rate. EIDE is plenty fast for burning to multiple drives, though I don't have optical drives on the same IDE channel which may or may not make a difference. And considering that most FireWire drives convert to IDE for the drive interface it certainly isn't faster than IDE inside your own computer
