  1. hello everyone, im an eager newbie who cant wait to get enveloped in the world of video editing. With the receint purchace of a card, i can now get my analog videos into my pc. I have adobe 6 and its great... my only problem, and i assume its not an increadibly rare problem, is that when i convert my adobe project to mpeg (in order to put it on a vcd) and play it in windows media player the video progressivly gets behind the audio so you hear things happen before you see them happen... also, the video starts out running pretty smooth but eventually it got to the point where a frame would last a few seconds then it would jump ahead... any help would be greatly appreciated!

It can be the media player. Try to pause the movie, then play again. If the movie is in sync again its the computer/media player having problem w/reading the video clip properly. I seen that a few times on my old computer.

  3. I tried what you said and played the last few seconds in media player and the last sound effect DID play so i burnt it to vcd, but i had the same sound problem in my dvd player, video progressivly lags behind the audio more and more
anyone have similar problems going from adobe to mpeg to vcd? Might it help if i exported the audio and video separatly out of adobe and worked w/ the 2 files in other software? Maybe? Of course im new to all this. Any help/ideas would be appreciated, thanks!
