i'm probably not the right guy to bring this up but..

maybe you should put in the forum rules for the newbies

'do not talk about downloaded movies that hasn't been released yet'
'do not talk about copying movies that you got from the rental store'

i'm not going even tell how long i was on this site before i found out what warez meant (everybody would have a good laugh off of that one)

just try to see it from a newbie's point of veiw

this is a site about dvd burning .most newbies think this an illegal site as they don't know you can make a personal backup on your own dvd. i know when i first joined (20 months ago even though my posts says 8 months ago) that was exactly what i thought .

    they read this

    Do NOT give warez.

Do NOT link to warez .

    Do NOT ask for warez.

Do NOT provide information how to obtain warez.

    Do NOT advocate warez.

    Warez includes pirate/bootleg movies
most newbies don't know what that means and they overlook the whole thing even though the last sentence say pirate/bootleg movies. i know i overlooked it when i first joined

    so let's see

they think they're on an illegal site

people are talking about burning dvds

    they don't understand the rules

the first thing they will do is start talking about downloaded movies
because they think this site is related to that.

the only reason i bring this up, is the warning that you are giving them, is scaring them away from this site

when what they did probably wasn't intentional

and all it takes is maybe explaining it to them in simple terms

    this just a suggestion
