I tried burning a SVCD with VCDEasy and when I added my video file to the list it said "This MPEG file has bad packets". I tried ignoring this and started to burn the video. When I played it on my DVD player it didn't play the entire video, I'm assuming it stopped where the "bad packet" was. How can I fix my MPEG files to make them burn without errors?

what is the source of your mpg2 files, and what process are you using to create them?

I got the mpg2's off kazaa, i didn't create them. i just tried fixing the mpg2's in tmpgenc with the mpg tools but it about 75% through it stops and says illegal audio stream. is there a better program to fix mpg2's?

I just extracted the audio with tmpgenc to a wav file and then tried to recombine them with tmpgenc but it once again said, "illegal audio stream" do i need to re encode the audio to mpeg layer2? if i do what is the best program to do that with and where can i get it? thanks for all the help
