  2. was it an 'on the fly' (CD Drive to CD-R drive copy) or
did you make a Nero image first (copy CD to hard disk, then put CD-R in drive for the burn)?

if u tried 'on the fly', try using just 1 drive and make a Nero Image on your drive of the file, and try burning that file

if you made a Nero Image, try to make another Nero Image, but slow the read speed down a little. I found out that my drive was reading it 'too fast', and data was becoming lost, and the burn would make a nice coaster or 2.

also, check to make sure there are no scratches, dust, smudges, hair, etc... on the disc

    hope i helped

  3. Okay thanks for the reply

Im going to try a couple of things u said later, I used the same drive for reading and writing...so im guessing it made a tempory nero image on the hard drive first.

  4. The only CD copy program i use is CloneCD, it can copy CD's no other burning proggies can handle. The downside is that it doesnt work with all recorders, but you can still make images with CloneCD. Mine is an old version, its possible the newer versions support most recorders. It worked fine with all recorders i had except a Yamaha 16x Scsi.

  5. 1) copy the avseq01.dat file from the VCD to your hdd

    2) load the .dat file into nero's VCD template and burn

    3) rinse and repeat...

  6. If i used isobuster and extracted the dat file to the hard drive using (Extract but FILTER only M2F2 mpeg frames) and burned the mpeg file using nero create vcd option. Would that work fine?

  7. if all you're gonna do is reburn the .dat file w/ nero into another VCD...

then, you shouln't really need to use isobuster...plus, i would use vcdgear to remove the VCD headers..rather than isobuster...

    --------------

anywayz, all you need to do is copy the .dat file over AS IS into your hdd (simple copy w/ windows explorer). then, load the .dat file into nero's VCD template and burn. only use vcdgear or isobuster if nero complains about the .dat file.
