    i went to burn the movie i have with nero but it says it needs to be encoded? what is up with that!

    i open tmpgenc but it wont let me open the file


    What do i do

    What type of mpeg is it and what are you trying to burn it as.

    if you have VCD MPEG-1 file, make sure you use nero's VCD template.


    if you have SVCD MPEG-2 file, make sure you use nero's SVCD template....

    so, if you matched the type of .mpg file with the correct template in nero and nero still wanted you to re-encode, then try unchecking the box next to "make standard, compliant disc"
