Is there anyway to convert an ifo file that i ripped with dvd decrypter and compressed with dvd shrink to an iso

if so what programs do i use

not sure what your asking is possible, see an ifo is only a file which tells the dvd player which vob to play, what chapter to play or what to do when a movie is starting or finishing, there is other stuff you can tell an ifo in what to do, but that is generally what an ifo file does. BUP is usually a backup of the IFO.

I think what you maybe asking is how to convert a set of vobs to an iso image, correct me if im wrong, if that is the case then you can use DVDdecrypter to make an iso image, just go to MODE then ISO then READ, select the source and then set the destination.

what i want to do is take the movie that i have ripped onto my computer and burn it to DVD-R as a iso file because i can not get it to work when i burn the ifo file

Hi Tim

if you want to turn your files in to an iso.

Go to the Tool section on this site & look for imgtool

Once you found it down load the classic imgtool.

this is a real simple tool to turn files in to iso's
