mintek 1600 what DVD+R media will work

I purchased two Mintek 1600 from Bestbuy in NYC Its plays my DVD
created with DVD X copy and DVDxCopy Express on DVD-R but it won't
play movie I burn with DVD+R is it the media I am using I have tried it with Maxell and TDK I get the NO DISC everytime..Is there a particular DVD+R media that works with the Mintek 1600? or is there a particular
burning program that works well I have used as I said DVDxcopy and I have use Nero 5.5 a long with DVD Dcrepter and IFO edit and DVD FAB to correct sector and its still won't play any DVD+R's ..Is there any DVD +R media that works will with the Mintek 1600 or am I out of luck? Any help would be gratly appreciated..

I have learned that I have to use nero in non- wizard mode
select dvd video mode on the left- tick ISO LEVEL ,1 tick ISO 960O uncheck everyting else, and then the resulting DVD+R will play on the Mintek 1600
