Does anybody know which one of the following Athlon processor would be best for DV editing?
XP 2400+ Thoroughbred (2.0 GHz, 256kb L2, 266 MHz FSB)
XP 2500+ Barton (1.83 GHz, 512kb L2, 333 MHz FSB)
XP 2600+ Thoroughbred (2.08 GHz, 256kb L2, 266 MHz FSB).
Between the two Thoroughbred obviously the XP 2600 is best, but would the XP Barton core processor with its additional L2 memory and increased FSB speed, perform better than the XP 2400+ even though it has a lower clock speed?, and what about the XP 2500+ vs. the XP 2600+ ?
