DVDXCOPY Xpress single layer DVD copying?

Hey everyone I just bought DVDXCOPY Xpress from Best Buy. I have a few single layer DVD's I'd like to copy. Will this program do it? Will it save the menus and all the extras?

I haven't opened it yet. I want to make sure it will do what I want.

If not should I return it? Is there another easy solution that will do all this?

DVDXCOPY Express only copies the main movie. DVDXCOPY (not the express version) will copy everything, menus and all but will split the file on to 2 DVDs if you are backing up a dual layer (DVD9) disc.

Well.If it were me Id return it there are better/Cheaper and in the case of DVDshrink (free) software that will do all youi need and a lot faster too.

DVD X Copy was pretty cool for a while when people were interested in spreading the movie across 2 discs...(although I always found the free IFOedit did it just as well)

If you are copying a single layer disc DVD Decryptor is definitely the program of choice. It will rip the entire disc to hard drive in the ISO mode and then burn the film to a blank DVD in two steps. You get the entire disc, menus and all. Best of all, it's free!

commerical DVD5 discs are the same size as DVD-R/+R...so there's no transcoders needed to compress the movie...

all you need to do is to rip and remove out the CSS encryption

however, i personally use dvddecryptor in file mode to rip all the files to my hdd and burn those directly w/ nero express....but the above method, all you need is dvddecryptor because it can both rip and burn.

DVDXCOPY Xpress does main movie only and FULL dvd to 1 DVD. Make sure you have XPRESS 3.0 or above you can update at www.dvdxcopy.com.

If you have the latest version of Xpress Copy there's an option you can select to copy the full disk (movie, menu's and all extras). If you don't have the latest version you should be able to download an upgrade.
