    whats the beseasiest program in the tools section that will give me an avi from a dvd rip....i can rip with smart ripper then shrink with dvd2one, but i wanna actually start capturing and backing up my personsal dvds in avi file format now....holla back

    Try DVDx. It does real time ripping and encoding. just one step. Also read the guides section for a correct setup.
