Ok, heres the situation.
I am trying to fit 2 movies on one DVDr, which is NOT a problem. Both movies total out at about 2.2GB PER movie, so in total thats 4.4 GB of space for just movies.
I took the VOB files and ONLY the vob files from the first "Tomb Raider" Movie. I didnt encode anything. I ripped ONLY the movie, with 5.1 sound.
For the SECOND movie, its an SVCD that was converted to DVD Compliance in TMPGEnc. I created the VOB files using Ulead DVD Movie Studio.
I have TWO SEPERATE SETS of VOB files, but NO ifo files, or bup files. (I deleted them). I ALSO dont have any VIDEO_TS.vob files, so there are no menu files.
My question is this:
How would I take ALL of the VOB files from BOTH sets, and make it so that 1 menu can select which movie to play, and make it so that they DONT play 1 after another? Basically, if I select to play the FIRST movie, after the movie, it goes back to the menu. Then, I can CHOOSE to play the second movie, and after THATS finished, it goes BACk to the root menu.
How would I do that? Someone please help.

This is based on how you author the DVD. See the guides to the left under author. It sounds like you'd like to make:
I. Master Menu - choose TM or SVCD
A. TM Menu (from DVD)
B. SVCD menu
You can set all this in your authoring program. Keeping the original source menu with it's links can be tricky thou. -
Its not that I want to keep the original menu, I dont want to do that. I want to take the VOB files (720x480) that I ripped from the DVD, and then take the VOB files that I converted to DVD Compliant (480x480) and then create one master menu myself.
2 Thumbnails, 1 for each movie. After each movie is done playing, return to the main menu.
I DONT want the two movies to auto-start, and then after the first one, continue on to the second one.
I have all the elements I would need for the menu, EXECPT heres whats going to happen:
I use Ulead DVD Workshop. Is there any way to create a menu in that program, with NO VIDEO FILES attached to it, and then create the VIDEO_TS.vob file, and then run it through a program like IFOEdit, or something, and RELINK the thumbnails?
Because more or less, all I want to do is take an already existing menu that I created, and modofy it to be relinked. Thats basically it.
Any ideas?
