  1. I would like to over come the 4GB limit in VirtualDub but I don't know how. What must I do. I would like to know the whol procedure.
    Please can anyone help me.
    Please I'm desperate.

  2. This is based on VirtualDub v1.4.7, but I think this is the same on all recent versions.
    1. From the capture screen, pull down Capture, click on Enable Multi-segment capture
    2. Click on Capture again and Capture drives...
    3. Click Add spill drive and click under the heading Path and enter the drive letter of your capture drive. You should have a row that reads something like, Priority +0, Threshold 50Mb, Path D:\
    4. Set Try not to create AVI files smaller than to something like 100MB
    5. Set Try not to create AVI files larger than to 1000MB. This will assure that each segment stays below the 2GB AVI file barrier
    6. Click OK
