    Ulead claims thier latest version will do just that. I havn't tried it myself just going by thier web site http://www.ulead.com . They do offer a trial download however so you can try it without handing over $$ first.

  3. VCDEasy can do it
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author

  4. For VCD/CVD/SVCD you can do this with VCDImager. The 'problem' is that VCDImager is a command line program, so many people don't like to use it. There are several GUIs for it thou. The most popular being VCDEasy (and to a much lesser extent TSCV).

    You can set intro clips, multiple menus, next/prev, etc. with either GUI. I personally like TSCV but it's a dead program (no longer supported) and thus there aren't as many guides or people that can help walk your though it. There are good guides to both programs to the left under author, but for VCDEasy I think the best guide is:

    It really goes into more depth then you asked about, but walk through it and you'll learn a lot.

  5. rizzy_101,

    I always add an intro to a VCD. If the VCD is a DVD-rip, then the into is the motion menu of the DVD. If the VCD is my own Home Video, I make a small intro of 30 seconds to 1 minute - consisting of various 5 second clips from the entire video; these clips fade in and out using the ULead Video Studio s/w.

    For DVD to VCD motion menus, I have to remove some of the menu options using VDub Logo Away filter. I also have to add '1', '2', '3', etc. to the rest of the menus using VDub. That is a pain.

    Sometimes I just add a 'Dolby Stereo' into to my VCD as the startup.

    I use VCDEasy to do this.
