    I'm looking for That's DVD+R discs. I got one with my Optorite DD0203 and I had very good results so I want to continue using the media, I just can't seem to find it, if someone could please point me in the right direction I would apreciate it.

  3. "That's Write" DVD±R != "That's" DVD±R.

    "That's Write" could be manufactured by several different companies and are cheap media.

    "That's" is Taiyo Yuden's own brand and they're high quality (and expensive) media.

    That's DVD±R media are not easy to find outside Japan but I've noticed that Blankdiscshop sells them in UK.

  4. Taiyo Yuden (That's) doesn't have a retail presence in the US, although the 10-pack jewel cased Fujifilm DVD-Rs are made by TY if the package indicates made in Japan. See the thread of "Fuji DVD-Rs". No TY DVD+R discs are currently sold in the US.

  5. If you don't mind paying $3.5 ea I found one place selling Taiyo Yuden DVD+R's in US here.

    @b1r0i1a5n: BTW could you add the "That's DVD+R" to the media list. I would like to see the media code for a Taiyo Yuden DVD+R

    Maybe I'll just try a different brand of media because those are a little too expensive. By the way -jsl- how do I add it to the media list and I don't even know what a media code is, if you could help me out, i'd be glad to put it on the list.

  7. You add new media to the list here

    The "complete media code" contains for example info about the manufacturer of the media. To check the media code download DVDInfo here and follow the instructions here.

    The GUI is changed a bit in the new version but the process is pretty much the same. (The "Show Complete Media Code" command is in the "ADVANCED COMMANDS" list and the ASCII/Hex buttons are removed so you only need to click the yellow "copy to clipboard" button (the fourth button from the right).
