I have done 10-15 svcd with svcd2dvdmpg+, using I guess default setting
my last svcd I did, after burning to dvd, watching the movie in certain spots of the movie I hear loud popping sounds through out the movie. I thought maybe a bad rip, so reripped with isobuster, then reencode with svcd2dvdmpg+ then burn to dvd, watch dvd then same. then I reencoded scvd2dvdmpg+ with one change I added under audio encoder was 2-pass that fixed the problem, the question I have is should the 2-pass be check all the time? was this an isolated problem I had?
Any tips will appreciated.

This happened to me as well, I just leave the 2 pass checked all the time now and I dont have a problem witht the audio anymore at all.

2 pass takes longer but will solve any audio issue you may have. if you look at the build info for 1.0.1265.28718 on http://www.svcd2dvdmpg.com/SVCD2DVDMPG/Software/svcd2dvdmpg+history.aspx that may be a beter solution for you.
