Hello all,
I have been trying to encode a DV AVI file with tmpge and the end result is a .m2v file. The file should be a .mpg file as SVCD's are because nero does not reconize it and gives me a error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

an .m2v is an mpg 2 video only file so you need to change the settings to have both audio and video in tmpg

Thanks sord_fish, I didn't even notice it was encoding video only, anyways it worked. Quality was les than a SVCD mind u so I guess i have some playing around with settings to do.
