hi, have always used nero, and found it very good, i think a good reason why its very stable is maybe due to nero 5.5 always used to automaticly set "high" priority in processes in the task manager in windows xp, therefor oiously a greater amount of cpu usage was goin to the nero process and so it works better than background programs, after installing nero 6 have noticed it now only sets its self to "normal" like most other programs.

anyone know why this is? is it something nero have forgot about in the new version?

    thanks

It only changes the priority to HIGH when it's actually burning the CD. That's the only time it's really needed.

    Mine works fine.
