  1. Sorry if I sound blasphemous or anything, but I was wondering if data CDs burned in the CD burning program in OSX can be read in PCs. Is there a special program I need so it can read them? See, I encoded a DVD to VCD with forty two, and I want to transfer it over to my PC to burn it with VCDEasy. On the topic of forty two, I was wondering if the .cue file was able to be viewed by VLC, so I can check if the whole VCD was encoded correctly.

why in the world would u want to burn it on your pc? there are plenty of ways to do it on the mac. toast, firestarter, missingmediaburner.. i mean come on now why would u burn it onto a cd just to burn it to vcd on a pc when you can just burn it to a vcd on your mac?? thats alot effort to do something that is beyond simple on the mac.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.

    1. Data cd's are no different between mac and pc. Burn them just like you would on a mac (ie toast or disk copy), put them in a pc and you see the files.

    2. your vcd's are not going to be burned as DATA! There are a bunch of "freeware" vcd burners for mac.
MissingMediaBurner and Firestarter FX are the two best. each can be found at www.versiontracker.com.

    3. .cue files can be played in VLC. Just drag the .cue to the app and it will launch the vide.

Since you are on a mac, its best to do all the work on a mac, check out the apps, firestarter fx is the easiest to use for beginners.
