    SOmeone please let me know what kind of software i need to DL to play .avi files and SEE the picture, i can hear just cant see.

    It depends on what codec was used to encode the avi. Most likely you need the divx codec. Just do a web search for it.

    You can find the lastest DivX Codec (v4.01)

    If you download the bundle, it comes with a media player called Tha Player, which will be able to play video file, assuming you have the necessary codecs to watch the video (i.e. DivX Codec, MPEG2 Codec, etc.)
