Second the say DTS also? I do not plan to buy these bootleg's just want to know is the DD 5.1 real and how can I capture my Laser Disc to DVD with 5.1 . I have a Dazzle 2 and ATI ALL IN WONDER radeon the first ALL IN WONDER radeon.

The only way these fake's could have been made must be Laser Disc

Also Laser Disc I do not think ever use DTS. If they record the DD 5.1 they must have encode back to DTS

You need to understand that the first laser discs indeed did have dd and dts on them way before dvds ever came out and finally the 5 star dvds on ebay were direct transfers from laser discs released in malaysia...

  3. I know Laser Disc have DD 5.1 but did not know if they had DTS. When DTS was coming out the same time DVD player's hit the market. I thought Laser disc did not have space to support both DD 5.1 and DTS.

  4. You need one of the new SoundBlaster Audigy Cards. I think that it is the only card that will cap 5.1. You would hook up your LD player to your Surround Reciever, then output from the reciever to the SoundCard. Then throw it into SoftEncode.

  5. Divxexpert So I would have to capture the video one time then the sound another time. Or could I capture Video and audio at the same time with the ATI and the Sound card? thanks

  6. Different Times. Then sync them back up (pain). But the results are great.
